Norton started reasonably in heavy conditions and James won an early free kick which Noah dispatched giving the keeper no chance. It was Khalsa though who appeared the hungrier and sharper side. They were stronger and applied pressure deservedly equalising through a well worked move down Norton's right that gave Niall no chance.
The half time pep talk did result in an improvement and it was 'shooting boots' who followed up a Noah shot for his 19th of the season. That became 20 following excellent endeavour from Connor. Still Khalsa created opportunities despite the good work of Max and Josh at the back and some last ditch tackles and clearances were needed to keep the two goal cushion. Late on another Noah free kick brought up Norton's fourth and progress to the semi final.
