A tight pitch and a very hard surface made good football difficult against a tenacious Woodford side who closed down every ball. There was plenty of Norton pressure and corners but the packed home defence stood firm. From a good passing move a shot came in that the keeper was unable to hold and Shea smashed home the loose ball. A well delivered free kick was converted with an unstopable header from Connor to give a two goal lead at half time.
The second half continued with Norton on top and the front 3 combined well in passing moves, Connor showed great control and awareness on a number of occaisions. Norton used their brains from throw ins and corners and one lovely passing move was only thwarted by the excellent Woodford keeper. There was nothing that could stop a powerful deflected shot from Noah which completed the scoring.
