The pitch was heavy and the weather bitter but that was no excuse for a lacklustre and disjointed Norton performance. Passing and movement was glimpsed , but only briefly. A turn and powerful shot by Ollie gave Norton the lead and was the only real highlight of the first half.
The second half continued in a similar vein and though Norton were on top through a series of corners Snitterfield continued to close down and work hard - with pace on the break.Indeed, it was an unfortunate own goal that doubled Norton's lead with 10 minutes to go. The scoring was completed with five minutes left when Noah whipped in a left foot cross that beat the excellent Snitterfield keeper at the near post.
