Norton started as the stronger team and the shots rained in at the Bilton goal. However the visitors were battling hard and at the midway point of the first half the game remained goalless. Norton were desperate to score and kept their composure as Noah provided a cross for Connor to finish with aplomb. Shortly after a cross found James in space and 'shooting boots' provided his usual finish. The first half continued with Norton dominating and an own goal gave a solid half time lead.
Norton started the second half sharper and almost immediately James scored, following up on a Connor shot. Bilton still battled but Connor skillfully rounded the keeper for number 5. Ollie also produced a pitch length header following a Bilton clearance. The goals kept coming with Connor completing his hatrick , James getting his third and fourth and Shea chipped in too.
Apologies for the lack of detail on the later goals but my junior reporter was unable to keep up with play due to excessive chatting - multi-tasking pah! Chief reporter returns next week.
